Over ten years ago while managing billions of dollars in commercial real estate, Herb Palm and Lance Ford recognized the need for a people first, client-centric facility service company. In 2005, they came together and founded Palm Facility Services to fill this void within the industry. Our founders are real estate professionals that truly understand the wants and needs of our clients. Herb has held leadership positions for the renowned Oliver Carr Company, Charles E. Smith Companies and Rouse & Associates. His extensive background in managing commercial real estate allows him to better understand the expectations of our clients. Prior to Palm, he directed the operations of a Mid-Atlantic janitorial services firm. Under his leadership, the firm’s revenues grew in excess of $600 million. Lance earned his Masters in Business Administration from the George Washington University after beginning his career as a Certified Public Accountant for Price Waterhouse in Washington, DC. Soon after, Lance transitioned into the Commercial Real Estate business with Walker & Dunlop. He then earned the prestigious Building Service Contractors Association International designation of Certified Building Service Executive.
